The Beginning of The 'Frack Me!' Festival
Welcome to the first ever blog post about the 'Frack Me!' festival!
The 'Frack Me!' festival is an event dedicated to raising money for the cause of anti-fracking!
Some 'frickedy-frack' Background Info
Fracking is a method of extracting underground gas. The location for fracking usually takes place around the same area where our local drinking water is sourced from. The process involved pumping chemicals underground to crack open rocks carrying the gas. This disrupts our drinking water and it could mean that we are not drinking clean water.
What Are We Going to Do?
Our team have decided to put on a festival to not only raise awareness about the negatives of fracking, but also to raise money for the cause! All proceeds will go towards the Frack Free Future association.

Date: 9th of October
Location: Fenella Open Field
